In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full-time Value Stream Supervisor to strengthen our team in Memphis, TN.
The Value Stream Supervisor (2nd Shift) leads a production value stream to achieve excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost in a medical device manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing team members, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture rooted in the core values of passion, trustworthiness, results-orientation, and togetherness. The supervisor will model leadership behaviors to engage people, lead by example, set direction, and foster inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Operate electropolishing machines to process medical device components according to validated procedures
- Prepare metal parts for electropolishing by cleaning and handling them properly to avoid contamination
- Monitor and control parameters such as voltage, temperature, and time during the electropolishing process
- Inspect finished parts for surface quality, smoothness and defect-free appearance
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, process conditions, and inspection results in compliance with quality management systems (e.g. GMP, ISO, FDA)
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of electropolishing equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Troubleshoot process issues and report equipment malfunctions or production delays
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in electropolishing or surface finishing preferred
- Experience with medical devices and manufacturing
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery
- Knowledge of chemical handling and safety protocols
- Attention to detail with strong visual inspection skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive motion
- Lifting up to 35lbs
- Ability to work with chemicals and wear PPE (e.g., gloves, face shield)
- Vision capability to inspect small and detailed parts
