Production Supervisor / Control Room Operator(2nd Shift)

We’re seeking a dependable and motivated Production Supervisor / Control Room Operator to oversee daily feed production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality on the 2nd shift.

• Operate and monitor the computer automation system for receiving ingredients, grinding, mixing, and batching feed products.
• Supervise and support a team of 5–10 production employees to meet production goals safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all activities follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company quality standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of inbound and outbound loads to maintain product integrity.
• Track and monitor inventory daily to ensure accurate reporting.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation related to operations is complete and correct.
• Oversee and perform housekeeping, maintenance coordination, and equipment checks.
• Handle start-up and shutdown of plant operations as required.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and all Local, State, and Federal regulations.
• Protect company assets, equipment, and inventory.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2+ years of experience in a mill, warehouse, or feed manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance
• Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in dusty or noisy environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting
