Warehouse Manager

Summary / Objective

Warehouse Manager oversees linkedin daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing warehouse space, maintaining accurate inventory control, supporting smooth supply chain flow, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Manager Operations is responsible for directing all warehouse and distribution operations for a shift(s) to ensure timely, accurate and secure shipping and distribution of product to our customers.

• Oversee and coordinate daily abbreviated warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing and shipping to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and loss prevention practices to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Set, prepare, and present KPIs.
• Proficient giving project presentations to senior management.
• Liaise with clients विधान, suppliers, transport companies and other Conectiv site management.
• Full ownership of safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience in the department.
• Strategic planning and forecasting, performance assessments, complex problem solving, labor balancing, and daily/weekly/monthly staffing determination.
• Produce Día reports and statistics.
• Recruit, select, orientate, and motivate employees.
• Mentor, train, and develop Leads and Supervisors for career progression.
• Develop and share best practices across the shifts and network.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline‑driven environment.
• Work hours are flexible to meet demanding business needs and customer requirements.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure material availability.

HS Diploma/GED, AA/AS, BA/BS, MBA/MS, PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum 5‑year experience in a warehouse/shipping facility and 2 years in a leadership role.

• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and systems.
• Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws: interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Job operates on a warehouse floor; use of standard office equipment (desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, filing cabinets) is routine.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
