What You Will Be Doing
  • Fully responsible for the safety and well‑being of MA staff; promoting a Safety‑First culture and managing all other aspects of running the station.
  • Fully responsible for implementation and adherence to MA Safety, Security, Quality, and Training policies and SOPs and all relevant industry, local, state, and Federal regulations.
  • Leads and collaborates with the senior team to maintain and enhance safety and security systems, risk assessments, inspections, audits, training programs, planning, operational processes, and service delivery.
  • Leads by example and provides immediate and direct feedback to Employees and colleagues.
  • Ensures a system for the effective delivery of safety‑related briefings and the cascade of safety‑related region bulletins, alerts, and information.
  • Participates in the development

    ETCH of station‑level budget.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing, planning, and scheduling.
  • Ensures sufficient processes for inventory and accounting of all company assets, consumable parts, contracted services, and vendor payment.
  • Fully accountable for the financial performance and compliance with corporate governance and legal aspects of Menzies’ businesses at the station.
  • Regularly interacts with customers to promote the station and assess satisfaction.
  • Uses customer feedback to continually improve capabilities and processes.
  • Pursues opportunities for new business and growth of existingதே services.
  • Ensures development and implementation of the station Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Emergency Action Plan (EAP), Local Contingency Plan (LCP), Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC), Facility Response Plan (FRP), Environmental Emergency Tank Response Plan (EERP), and/or Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
  • Assigns a Safety, Security & Compliance Manager/Officer to oversee the implementation of the Menzies Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) and Health & Safety manual (H&S) at the base.
  • Appoints a Principal Manager for all matters related.

    Multipart to Security per the MA Security Manual (SeMS).
  • Assigns a primary delegate ensuring compliance with the Menzies Aviation Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) and Environmental Management system.
  • Ensures processes for acquisition, maintenance, and safe operation of GSE equipment and vehicles.
  • Assists in investigating accidents, injuries, and near misses; prepares material and evidence for hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations; evaluates root causes; recommends corrective actions; and ensures their implementation and sustainment.
  • Ensures proper administration of the Workers’ Compensation Program (Reed Group in CAN); timely reporting, employee follow‑up, and aggressive Return‑to‑Work promotion.
  • Leads and motivates hard‑working teams to deliver excellent quality and productivity.
  • Directs and motivates Managers to achieve agreed targets.
  • Reviews leading and lagging indicators of safety and operational performance (e.g., SMART targets, MORSE dashboards, audit findings, recordable injuries, training completion reports, Workers Compensation rates and costs, AC damage rates, GSE damage rates, preventive maintenance completion rates, Smart Drive coaching completion rates, Smart Drive safety score, delay reports).
  • Conducts routine staff meetings.
