Immediate opening for a Project Manager to join an established mechanical contractor in the Memphis area. The Project Manager is responsible for leading mechanical and building systems projects from award through closeout. This role oversees planning, staffing, procurement, execution, and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

• Lead assigned projects from kickoff through completion
• Manage and support Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen
• Conduct project handoff meetings with estimating and engineering teams
• Assign field leadership and forecast manpower needs for active and backlog projects
• Visit job sites weekly to review progress, labor, materials, safety, and quality
• Track schedules, milestones, labor hours, and project costs
• Procure materials and equipment while maintaining budget and ethical standards
• Review purchase orders for pricing, quantities, and accuracy
• Manage change orders and ensure approvals are in place prior to execution
• Prepare for and participate in weekly project meetings and monthly billing reviews
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors through consistent site presence
• Enforce quality, safety, PPE compliance, and job site organization
• Provide performance feedback and corrective action when needed

• 3+ years of project management or project engineering experience in the mechanical or plumbing industry
• 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
