Overview
The University Of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the position of Maintenance Repair Worker 3, Space and Facilities Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0150613]. Under the general supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, this role is primarily responsible for managing and tracking assets, keys and building access cards, alarms devices, vehicle fleet, warranties, renewals, installations and inspections of facilities and equipment.
The incumbent will perform light maintenance tasks as assigned and coordinate work with landlord maintenance teams. This position provides 24/7 facilities support to a flexible portfolio of 16 owned and leased UNLV School of Medicine, Research and Clinical (Faculty Practice Plan) facilities and over 1200 employees.
- Manage and track assets, keys and building access cards, alarms devices, vehicle fleet, warranties, renewals, installations and inspections of facilities and equipment.
- Perform light maintenance tasks as assigned and coordinate work with landlord maintenance teams.
- Provide 24/7 facilities support for a portfolio of facilities and personnel as described.
- Two years of experience performing semi-skilled work in a relevant building and/or mechanical trade; or one year of experience as a Maintenance Repair Worker II in Nevada State service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SalaryGrade 27 Step 1, Salary $48,024.00. Initial appointments to classified positions typically begin at Step 1 of the assigned grade per NAC 284.170. A "Step" refers to the specific rate of pay within a grade, as determined by the Division of Human Resources.
