McKesson is looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work in our cutting-edge, highly automated environment. The Maintenance Tech supports facilities staff by performing maintenance duties including maintenance of office equipment and computer systems, electrical projects, light construction, and troubleshooting and repairing automation equipment such as conveyors, valves, pistons, and basic I/O systems. You will collaborate with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs and perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations for all equipment used in the facility.

Shift
:
Tuesday through Friday 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Sunday and Monday are off days).
- Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and use data to troubleshoot circuits.
- Mechanical experience with aligning bearings, shafts, and drives.
- Adjust tension of belts and chains.
- Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
- Ability to analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
- Troubleshoot network systems.
- Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot IBM-compatible computers.
- Understand and utilize McKesson's ICARE principles to communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Improve quality and efficiency on the production floor.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year facilities engineering experience.
- Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
- Trained to work with 460, 220, 120 VAC and 24-volt DC circuits.
- Knowledge of motor starting circuits and power distribution circuits.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and evaluate operations based on these schematics.
- Ability to read ladder logic, download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.
- Ability to work with control circuits using devices such as photoeyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights, and safety switches.
- Align bearings, shafts, and drives.
- Adjust tensions of belts and chains.
- Identify worn or damaged parts and replace them.
- Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on device requirements.
- Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in maintenance manuals.
- Work with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves.
- Maintain printers.
- Analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
- Troubleshoot network (Ethernet) systems.
- Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
- Set up and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computers or peripherals.
- Discretionary, decisive and organized thinking regarding best practices.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Flexible to meet changing business demands and situations.
- Understand and promote ICARE principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience with customers, employees, McKesson network, and suppliers.
- Production environment.
- Closely monitored and regulated to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
: $23.36 - $38.94
