You are the person who is the ZEALOUS advocate for your client, you must be their voice. You push their case, pursue their interest, adapt to the adversarial relationship from the other side. It is about getting the best outcome you possibly can, the best outcome for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Settling cases for the maximum benefit to our clients Winning trials Maintaining regular communication with clients and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction Turning around a high volume of cases efficiently Setting client expectations Never over promise but always overdeliver Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances Work with experts; generating, tending relationships with experts so that we can prove our case Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum Court Appearances/ Court Hearings / Oral Arguments Key Qualifications for Litigation Attorneys:
Licensed and in good standing with Tennessee Bar (Licenses in MS and or AR are pluses) Minimum of 1-year experience in personal injury litigation, defense or plaintiffs is preferred for litigation attorneys Strong negotiation skills Crisis de-escalator skills, calm under fire A comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and insurance is desirable Strong legal research and writing skills
Ability to manage a demanding caseload Ability to Identify complex problems and review related information Ability to listen to clients, taking time to understand the points made and asking the appropriate questions Ability to display sincere empathy for clients is a must! Ability to convey information effectively both verbally and in writing Able to determine the relative costs and benefits of each potential case Effective leadership skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to follow firm policies and procedures while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement Ability to quickly learn and effectively use the Firms key case management software
