Job DescriptionSets up, operates, and maintains laboratory instruments, monitors experiments, makes observations, calculates and records results, and often develops conclusions.
Individual is familiar with basic scientific principles and has had some laboratory experience.
Has good communication skills and is computer literate.
Will perform routine chemical and possible physical analyses related to testing of manufactured samples and quality research, and provide laboratory support to projects in analytical sciences.
QualificationsRequirements:
- 1 year experience in a lab setting.
- A degree in the sciences is preferred but not required.
- Experience with biometer or a Bostwick Consistometer is a plus.
- Experience with basic lab techniques and motivated to be trained on new techniques as the need arises.
- Must be a creative, self‑directed problem solver.
- Interpersonal communication skills needed.
- Experience with MS Office software – Excel, Outlook, Word.
