Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support agile delivery within a dynamic technology environment. This role will facilitate the effectiveness of one or more scrum teams aligned to a defined business value stream. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who removes impediments, drives agile best practices, and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You will play a critical role in enabling high-performing teams by ensuring agile ceremonies are effective, supporting backlog readiness, and guiding teams toward increased agility and maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective to promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation

• Partner with Product Owners to ensure user stories are sprint-ready and support backlog refinement activities

• Use data and agile metrics to forecast team velocity and help right-size sprint goals

• Remove impediments and manage external dependencies that impact team delivery

• Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability within cross-functional teams

• Support distributed teams and ensure alignment and coordination across locations

• Create and publish relevant agile metrics to support continuous improvement

• Utilize agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms

• Contribute to a Scrum Master community of practice by sharing knowledge and continuous learning insights

• Guide teams in developing improvement plans to advance agile maturity

• Communicate team needs related to skills development, tools, or other resources to leadership

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Scrum Master experience leading agile teams

• Strong understanding of agile values, principles, and software development practices

• Experience working with multiple frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, Nexus, or scaled agile approaches

• Proven ability to remove impediments and manage cross-team dependencies

• Experience supporting distributed or offsite teams

• Solid knowledge of at least two of the following:
  User Stories, Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development, Dev Ops, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, Automated Testing, or Agile Games

• Familiarity with web-based technologies across front‑end and back‑end environments

• Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Active certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Team Coach (CTC), SAFe Agilist, or PMI-ACP

• Experience contributing to agile communities of practice

• Demonstrated success driving agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives
