- 7+ years of hands-on WCS/WMS testing experience
in warehouse or distribution environments. - Demonstrated ability to
independently define testing scope, build test plans/roadmaps, and execute testing
with minimal direction. - Hands-on technical capability required
— must personally execute tests (not coordination-only). - Proven experience testing
warehouse automation systems
(conveyors, sorters, print-and-apply, material handling equipment). - Strong ability to
translate requirements into executable test scripts
, including happy path, exception handling, and recovery scenarios. - Comfortable working in
technical, on-site warehouse environments
, including system setup, tools, and test execution without assistance. - Ability to
own deliverables end-to-end
, including documentation, execution, issue tracking, and follow-through. - Independently create and maintain
test plans, testing roadmaps, schedules, and execution trackers
. - Execute WCS-related testing and
document results with minimal hand-holding
. - Actively contribute in discussions by
referencing prior project experience
and offering concrete recommendations. - Proactively identify risks, gaps, and ambiguities in requirements and testing scope.
- Provide
concise, regular status updates
(e.g., wins, priorities, blockers). - Demonstrate strong
organizational discipline
in task tracking, documentation, and execution.
