NTE Security Manager, Non-Traditional Environment Security

Overview

AWS is seeking an Edge Security Manager to join our Infrastructure Operations team. The role focuses on driving operational security excellence across multiple facilities within a short driving distance, identifying physical security gaps, coordinating with vendors for security construction and operations, and developing security processes and reports. The position requires data-driven observation, written reports, presentations to management, and the ability to participate in on-call rotation.

• Investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports
• Analyze situations, make quick decisions and formulate action plans
• Create and manage key performance metrics
• Work with security service providers
• Train others in security procedures
• Travel locally and internationally
• Must be able to participate in on-call rotation

• 3+ years of law enforcement, or 3+ years of security-related professional experience
• 3+ years with security software systems such as Lenel and at least 1+ year working with video surveillance equipment
• 1+ year of performing security risk assessments

• Experience in a data center or other critical environment
• CPP, PSP, PMP, and Lenel certifications preferred
• 2+ years overseeing security construction projects
• 2+ years working with workflow ticketing and extraction of performance metrics
• 2+ years providing security in logistical / transportation environments

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
