IT ERP Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Systems Lead to serve as the primary hands-on expert for our new Infor Cloud Suite Distribution (CSD) system. This individual will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing the ERP, providing advanced internal support (Level 2/3), managing upgrades and patches, and ensuring smooth operation across all business functions. The role is critical to enabling Wallace to fully leverage Infor CSD, continuously improving processes while keeping the system aligned with best practices for a modern distribution business.

• ERP Ownership & Hands-On Support
  • Serve as the internal “go-to” expert for all Infor CSD issues, questions, and optimization requests.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support, including configuration, workflow adjustments, security/role management, and issue troubleshooting before escalation to Infor implementation partners.
  • Maintain data integrity, system setups, and user access rights.
• Upgrades, Maintenance & Enhancements
  • Lead and execute ERP upgrades, patches, and module rollouts, including planning, sandbox testing, validation, and cutover activities.
  • Configure and deploy system enhancements, integrations, and customizations where needed.
  • Evaluate business needs and recommend improvements that reduce complexity and keep Wallace on a “best in class” path.
• Documentation
  • Create and maintain system documentation, configuration notes, test scripts, and user guides.
• Business Process Alignment
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Customer Service to ensure ERP capabilities meet business requirements.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend changes that improve efficiency, standardization, and scalability.
  • Translate business needs into ERP solutions and provide hands-on configuration support.
• Act as the primary liaison with Infor and third-party partners when external escalation is required.
• Oversee issue resolution and enhancement requests, ensuring business priorities are represented.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on ERP experience, ideally with Infor CSD or Infor SX.
• Proven track record in ERP configuration, support, upgrades, and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of distribution, supply chain, warehouse, and finance processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to create documentation and train non-technical audiences.

• Direct experience migrating from Infor SX to Infor CSD.
• Familiarity with High Jump/Körber WMS, EDI, e-commerce integrations (Kodaris, E-Tail), and reporting tools (Power BI, Phocas).
• SQL experience.
• Project management, testing coordination, and change management experience.
• On-site role at Wallace Distribution headquarters in Morristown, TN.
• Primarily office-based, with regular interaction across departments.
• Standard work hours (Monday–Friday, 8–5), with occasional extended hours during key ERP/reporting deadlines.
