Overview
Memphis, TN | Onsite We’re seeking a Social Media Specialist to own and manage our organic social media presence across key platforms. This role is ideal for someone with B2B experience who understands how to plan content, write with intention, analyze performance, and adjust strategy based on results. Video and graphic creation are part of the role, but the primary focus is social media strategy, execution, and optimization.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $28–$29/hour
Travel: ~20% for branch visits and content capture
Location: Office-based, with a dedicated creative workspace
What You’ll Do- Own and manage the organic social media content calendar across Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, and You Tube, with a B2B mindset.
- Plan and publish content that is informative, professional, and aligned with business objectives.
- Write clear, thoughtful captions tailored to each platform’s audience and behavior.
- Analyze organic performance trends and adjust content strategy accordingly (no paid advertising).
- Create polished short-form video and graphic content that supports social media goals.
- Capture photos and video during branch visits, including basic interview-style clips.
- Edit short-form video using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, or similar.
- Produce content for the website and LMS, including employee recognition and internal storytelling.
- Coordinate with branch leadership to schedule shoots and ensure environments are properly set up.
- Work independently while collaborating closely with the Marketing Specialist and Director.
- Maintain a 30–60 day social media content calendar across all platforms.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Linked In, Facebook and You Tube as business platforms.
- Track performance consistently and make data-driven adjustments to improve engagement.
- Deliver clean, on-brand social content that reflects a professional B2B presence.
- 2+ years of experience managing professional social media accounts for a company or brand (B2B experience strongly preferred).
- Proven experience owning a social media calendar and publishing cadence.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt messaging by platform.
- Comfort creating polished graphics and short-form video for social media.
- Working knowledge of video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Understanding of organic social analytics and how to pivot based on performance.
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Clear communicator with a strong sense of brand and message discipline.
