The PositionOur bank client is seeking an Information Technology Manager in Memphis, TN. The role involves managing technical aspects of third-party implementations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high-quality deliverables.
This position offers a salary up to $120K and a benefits package. (
Note:
This is not a remote position).
- Manage and prioritize the activities of the software development team.
- Oversee technical development for internal developers and third-party partners.
- Design, code, and implement systems and software applications, including API development for vendor solutions.
- Develop architectural solutions for systems, databases, user interfaces, and web services.
- Conceptualize software systems to meet business and customer needs.
- Conduct cost analysis to keep projects within budget.
- Guide, coach, and mentor software engineers.
- Collaborate with management, stakeholders, vendors, and developers to align solutions with strategic goals.
- Provide project management and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Supervise resource allocation to meet business and personnel development goals.
- Manage and escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality.
- Ensure solutions meet company and customer requirements.
- Prepare project lifecycle documentation, including research, development, design, testing, and delivery.
- Lead architectural efforts and develop the technical roadmap.
- Evaluate projects, develop schedules, and supervise project status.
- Develop requirements documents, procedures, and functional architectures.

Skills and experience include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Five+ years of software development experience and at least one year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of leading-edge technology.
- Management experience in software development.
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Understanding of the financial services sector.
- Experience with Jack Henry and Associates Silver Lake preferred.
- Strong judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and diplomacy.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to achieve results without direct reporting lines.
