Our bank client is seeking an Information Technology Manager in Memphis, TN. The role involves managing technical aspects of third-party implementations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high-quality deliverables.

This position offers a salary up to $120K and a benefits package. (

Note:

This is not a remote position).

• Manage and prioritize the activities of the software development team.
• Oversee technical development for internal developers and third-party partners.
• Design, code, and implement systems and software applications, including API development for vendor solutions.
• Develop architectural solutions for systems, databases, user interfaces, and web services.
• Conceptualize software systems to meet business and customer needs.
• Conduct cost analysis to keep projects within budget.
• Guide, coach, and mentor software engineers.
• Collaborate with management, stakeholders, vendors, and developers to align solutions with strategic goals.
• Provide project management and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Supervise resource allocation to meet business and personnel development goals.
• Manage and escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality.
• Ensure solutions meet company and customer requirements.
• Prepare project lifecycle documentation, including research, development, design, testing, and delivery.
• Lead architectural efforts and develop the technical roadmap.
• Evaluate projects, develop schedules, and supervise project status.
• Develop requirements documents, procedures, and functional architectures.

Skills and experience include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five+ years of software development experience and at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of leading-edge technology.
• Management experience in software development.
• Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Understanding of the financial services sector.
• Experience with Jack Henry and Associates Silver Lake preferred.
• Strong judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and diplomacy.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to achieve results without direct reporting lines.
