TESS manages transportation network configuration by partnering with internal stakeholders and systems to deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll work at the intersection of business and technology, gathering customer insights, mining large datasets, and translating complex requirements into system improvements that directly impact Amazon's transportation strategy.
Key job responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of cross‑functional programs with impact across multiple organizations, from strategy development through delivery
- Define program objectives, analyze data, and drive quantifiable improvements using metrics and KPIs
- Partner with business leaders, engineering teams, and stakeholders to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively
- Develop and implement KPI reporting for program portfolios, providing visibility into milestones and performance
- Create, communicate, and manage project budgets
You'll start your day reviewing dashboards and metrics that track transportation network performance, identifying opportunities for optimization. You'll collaborate with Business Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers to extract insights from large datasets, then translate those findings into actionable recommendations for leadership. Throughout the day, you'll facilitate meetings with cross‑functional teams—from operations managers to software engineers—ensuring alignment on priorities and removing roadblocks.
You'll work autonomously to solve ambiguous problems, whether that's defining requirements for a new system feature or analyzing why a particular network configuration isn't performing as expected. Your work directly influences decisions about how Amazon moves packages from fulfillment centers to customers' doorsteps.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience working with data mining on large datasets
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field experience
- Experience with SQL and advanced Excel
- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions
