Job Summary

As the Catering Sales Manager, you will coordinate and oversee internal and external catering events, responsible for menu development, costing, marketing, and event logistics. You will control labor and food costs, as well as assist with preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup of all events.

• Hire, train, and develop managers while shaping service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures.
• Create operating statements, reports, and operational budgets, and review collections of receivables.
• Plan and coordinate catering activities, bookings, and operational functions.
• Produce proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
• Monitor budgets; meet financial targets and forecasts.
• Maintain a local client

• Ensure all safety and sanitation procedures comply with HACCP.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
• Strong knowledge of food industry trends and fine dining service points.
• Minimum two years in hospitality, including one year in catering sales.
• Superior supervisory, scheduling, training, and coaching skills.
• Ability to assess client requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Experience writing menu proposals in collaboration with chefs.
• Proficiency in supervising food preparation, service, and cleanup.
• Knowledge of A/V equipment setup and teardown.
• Excellent quantitative, oral and written communication, problem‑solving, and strategizing skills.
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills, with flexibility and attention to detail.
• Advanced computer skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Calm under pressure, proactively anticipating and supporting business changes.
• Highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
