Join our pediatric team as a Child Life Specialist to provide therapeutic, educational, and recreational support for hospitalized children and their families. This PRN role supports the Child Life Program and enriches patient psychosocial care.

• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on child development, medical plan, and support systems.
• Participate in interdisciplinary health teams and provide consultation on child development status and individual needs.
• Facilitate play interventions promoting self‑healing, self‑expression, understanding, and mastery.
• Provide support during procedures as requested.
• Create, audit, and maintain Child Life quality improvement processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Child Development, or related field.
• 1–3 years of Child Life experience.
• Certified Child Life Specialist – Association of Child Life Professionals required.
• Heart Saver – American Heart Association certification preferred.

Medium work – exerting up to 50 lbs. occasional and up to 10 lbs. frequent; requires good balance and coordination; visual acuity, color, depth perception and field of vision required. Exposure to patient fluids and hazardous materials.
