Overview
Physical Therapist | Germantown | Full-Time | Days. Join Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare to provide physical therapy treatment in alignment with professional and MLH standards of care. Models MLH Mission, Vision and Values and contributes to a compassionate, service-focused culture.
What You Will Do- Performs initial patient assessment.
- Implements patient treatments based on assessment and written plan.
- Provides ongoing patient assessment through observation and review of records.
- Identifies patient-specific physical therapy rehabilitation learning needs and provides appropriate education.
- Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities for self-development and enhancement of professional competency.
- Bachelor s Degree in Physical Therapy
- No prior work experience
- Physical Therapist – Tennessee – Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to understand and prepare moderately complex written materials, such as patient records.
- Ability to communicate verbally with associates, physicians and other professionals.
- Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and manage workflow.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities. May provide guidance and direction to therapy assistants.
- Physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- Medium work exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs frequently.
- Close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform duties such as assessing patients and handling data.
- Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact; exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials.
- Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
