• Assess patients’ leisure and recreational activities, provide age- and developmentally appropriate therapy groups, and establish behavioral treatment goals consistent with Lakeside Behavioral Health System’s philosophy and objectives.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree required. Bachelor’s in Recreation Therapy preferred;
  Bachelor’s in related fields such as Art, Music, or Exercise/Fitness required. CTRS or licensure in a related Specialty Therapy is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  One year of experience working with a mental health population.
• Licensure/Certification: CTRS or licensure in a related Specialty Therapy preferred.
• Knowledge:
  Knowledge of group leadership skills, age-specific growth and development, crisis management, and behavior management.
