Overview

Saint Francis Hospital Memphis is a 510‑bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the Mid‑South community. As a comprehensive medical center, it offers a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services and specialty areas, including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include the Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/Surge and Telemetry.

The Paramedic PRN Nights Position acts as a member of the healthcare team to perform delegated patient care duties in the department assigned. The Paramedic holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures.

• Provide patient care during PRN nights, following hospital policies and procedures.

• Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician‑Paramedic training course.

• Required:
  
  Paramedic experience.
• Preferred:
  Experience in an emergency room.

• Paramedic License
• BLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire if not current
• CPR required within 90 days of hire
