Interventional Radiology Tech PRN Days

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures requested by a licensed physician. Provides technical support for interventional radiographic examinations, assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Performs radiographic exams on all patients as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotating through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology.
• Technologist is required to properly perform all duties related to general interventional, vascular interventional and all neuro and neuro‑vascular (stroke) studies performed in the department.

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
• Associate’s degree preferred

• 2-5 years of X‑ray experience
• 1-3 years IR experience preferred

• ARRT (R)
• VI or CI preferred
• BLS
• State license if required
