The Amazon Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team provides resources, best practices, and safe environments to proactively manage the health and wellbeing of our workforce. Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the WHS team. The OMR will work with the WHS Site Manager, WHS Specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS), attend weekly associate safety committee meetings, greet new hires, and participate in weekly case management review meetings as necessary.
The OMR will independently assess and administer first aid, offer guidance to Amazon Associates (AAs) on occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses, refer care to outside medical providers as needed, and learn about OSHA regulations, risk, and analysis. The OMR will be part of the onsite team, assisting with first aid needs and supporting safety operations as required.
