Data Analyst
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for reviewing and researching accounts to ensure all No Surprises Act (NSA) processes are accurately reflected in Epic, including payment determinations, account balances, and related documentation. This role will manage the NSA email inbox, monitor key reports, and audit data to evaluate processing timelines and assess Open Negotiation, IDR, and Offer workflows. The analyst will help identify discrepancies, trends, and root cause issues to support compliance and process improvement.
Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions- Review and validate NSA-related account activity in Epic to ensure accuracy in payment determinations, balances, and documentation.
- Monitor the NSA email inbox and provide timely, professional communication.
- Audit reports and analyze data to evaluate workflow timeliness and identify process gaps or inconsistencies.
- Perform detailed investigations to identify root causes behind errors, delays, or discrepancies.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for reporting, data analysis, communication, and tracking deadlines.
- Apply strong critical‑thinking skills to interpret data and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing data, documents, and reports.
- Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Adhere to all NSA Business Office processes, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Associates degree or an equivalent combination of previous related payment reimbursement experience and education.
- Experience working in Epic and be familiar with the No Surprises Act preferred.
One (1) year of previous revenue cycle experience in a healthcare or insurance setting.

Special SkillsStrong analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of healthcare receivables
