Maintains patient and non‑patient care areas within the hospital, keeping them safe and attractive. Actively participates in quality/performance improvement activities and demonstrates appropriate policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Clean and disinfect by completing a 7‑step cleaning process.
• Practice infection control guidelines, adhere to universal precautions, and complete work assignments safely.
• Maintain equipment, storage rooms, and environmental closets orderly.
• Perform all floor maintenance tasks per departmental policy and procedures.
• Follow Service First principles.
• Fulfill hospital‑required competencies.
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned goals.

Minimum:
Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: 1 year of housekeeping experience. Minimum:
None.
