What You Will Do
  • Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and contraindications based on patient‑specific factors.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications.
  • Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy leadership, and team members to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in audits, process improvements, and continuous quality initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety.
What We Look For
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm

    D) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Licensure:
    Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License.
  • Certifications:

    Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs (Medicare, Medicaid).
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
  • Experience in a high‑volume community, mail order, or fulfillment pharmacy.
  • Skills:

    Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Experience using pharmacy management software, barcode verification systems, and EHRs.
