- Responsible for aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies as needed for assigned cases
- Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures
- Pull cases as needed, break down cases at the end of the procedure, set up operating room and supplies needed for the day/following day’s schedule
- Available for call on an assigned/scheduled basis as required by unit need
- When needed, perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Graduate of Surgical Technician Program
- Must meet qualification of Employment of Surgical Technologist as required by State of TN
- BLS required
- Current Certification for the Surgical Technologist
- 1 year experience as surgical technician
