• Responsible for aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies as needed for assigned cases
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures
• Pull cases as needed, break down cases at the end of the procedure, set up operating room and supplies needed for the day/following day’s schedule
• Available for call on an assigned/scheduled basis as required by unit need
• When needed, perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Graduate of Surgical Technician Program
• Must meet qualification of Employment of Surgical Technologist as required by State of TN
• BLS required
• Current Certification for the Surgical Technologist

• 1 year experience as surgical technician
