A successful collections litigation firm is seeking a highly organized and process-driven Post-Judgment Operations Manager to oversee and improve post-judgment recovery operations. This role will focus on managing the workflow and performance of a large judgment portfolio, with particular emphasis on wage garnishment processing, payment monitoring, and operational process improvements.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in collections litigation, creditors’ rights, or high-volume recovery operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and accountability.
The Post-Judgment Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring judgments are converted into performing assets through effective garnishment execution, follow-up procedures, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the lifecycle of post-judgment collections within a large judgment portfolio
- Manage and improve wage garnishment workflows, including employer identification, garnishment filings, and response tracking
- Monitor garnishment payments and implement follow-up procedures when payments lapse or change
- Identify operational inefficiencies and develop improved processes and tracking systems
- Implement structured workflows to ensure consistent follow-up and case progression
- Review reporting and portfolio performance to ensure recovery activity remains on track
- Conduct or oversee asset searches when necessary to identify additional recovery opportunities
- Supervise and support administrative or processing staff responsible for judgment execution
- Help build and implement scalable systems as the organization continues to grow
- 7+ years of experience in collections, creditors’ rights law, or recovery operations
- Experience with wage garnishments, post-judgment collections, or legal recovery processes strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Ability to analyze workflow, improve systems, and implement process improvements
- Leadership experience or ability to oversee administrative staff
- High attention to detail and ability to manage a large volume of cases
- Self-starter who can work independently and drive operational efficiency
- Creditors’ rights or collections law firms
- Collections agencies
- Banking or financial institution recovery departments
- Revenue recovery or asset recovery organizations
This role is focused on improving the operational structure and performance of a large judgment portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring both hands‑on experience and the ability to create systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and long‑term recovery performance.
