Responsible for marketing and trading tax‑exempt municipal bonds with existing and prospective customers utilizing the FHN Financial Sales team, as well as existing industry contacts and platforms. Responsibilities include sourcing, bidding, and offering tax‑exempt municipal bonds, managing risk positions per trade policies, providing market insight and trade recommendations, and ensuring full compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Municipal Bond Trading
• Series 7, 52, 63 and SIE
• Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with a commission‑based sales force

The successful candidate will:

• Be proficient with BIDCOMP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bloomberg Professional
• Have the ability to quickly adapt to learn additional related computer software applications
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and the soft skills required for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• Have the ability to block out distractions and remain focused with attention to detail
