Regional Accountant

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Regional Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Cordova, TN. This role will support multiple manufacturing sites and work closely with site accountants, operations leadership, and corporate finance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in manufacturing accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.

• Review and approve financial statements for 4–5 assigned mills
• Approve journal entries and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide accounting support and guidance to mill accounting teams
• Prepare segment-level month-end performance and management reports
• Track and analyze capital project costs, monitoring spend versus budget

• Review quarterly audit lead sheets for assigned mills
• Support external quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Ensure audit requirements are completed accurately and on schedule
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
• Support SOX and internal control testing as assigned

• Support reporting transition to Oracle EPM
• Participate in system design, training workshops, and user testing
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of standardized accounting processes
• Drive process improvements aligned with business control objectives
• Partner with the Director and finance leadership to develop mill accountants and their teams
• Support training, performance development, and best practice sharing
• Build strong working relationships across finance, operations, and leadership teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
• 5–7 years of related accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal controls preferred
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Oracle financial systems preferred
