Position: FHNF FIXED INCOME ANALYST

Overview

The Analyst Program is a comprehensive 2-year apprenticeship designed to develop future talent for FHN Financial. This program offers exposure to functional areas within the firm, gaining a holistic understanding of our fixed income business and strategies. Participants will be assessed consistently to ensure proficiency and growth, with the ultimate goal of passing the Series 7 licensure and preparing for a successful career in institutional fixed income.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, including working closely with mentors and senior management for career development in fixed income
Qualifications
  • Recent college graduate or MBA graduate with a degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed in the financial services industry
  • High attention to detail for written analysis and client presentations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and not afraid to ask questions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Commitment to obtaining SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licensure within the 2-year program
  • Candidates are encouraged to obtain the SIE prior to joining the program Preferred Skills
  • Previous internship or work experience in financial services or related fields
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • Coding skills in Python or similar programming language
