Responsibilities of the Position
You will be assigned to work with one of Mercer Capital’s industry and/or service groups on strategically important analytical projects. Duties primarily include industry research and internal development projects, such as identifying target industries, evaluating industry opportunities, and developing platforms from which to build expertise. Interns will also have responsibilities and training similar to that of new, full-time analysts, including support of client valuation engagements, company analysis, financial performance analysis, report drafting and other activities.
Qualifications- Juniors pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (GPA of 3.5 or higher).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
- Outstanding writing, quantitative, and communication skills are required. The position is both writing and spreadsheet-intensive.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S., without employer sponsorship, at the time of hire and in the future.

Professional DevelopmentAs part of your internship, you will participate in the same, albeit truncated, valuation training as our new financial analysts. In addition, you’ll learn to use the following databases: S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and GF Data, among others. You’ll also contribute to client engagements in the industry or service group you are supporting as appropriate.
LocationThis is an in-office position.
