Mgr-Financial Reporting

Position Overview

Manages and directs accounting functions for the enterprise and researches and assists in the implementation of new accounting standards and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads the external financial reporting function.
• Directs the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in compliance with SEC rules and regulations and US GAAP.
• Analyzes impacts of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions.
• Works with external auditors on the quarterly review and annual audit of the external financial statements.
• Provides oversight and review of complex accounting transactions across the enterprise.
• Complies with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance-related field, plus five (5) or more years of combined experience in accounting, financial reporting and audit.
• Strong background in accounting and financial reporting, including knowledge of SEC reporting requirements.
• Strong collaboration and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
