Are you a seasoned electrical engineer passionate about shaping cutting‑edge manufacturing processes? We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to lead, optimize, and elevate electrical assembly operations within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. This is your opportunity to influence large‑scale production, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in electrical manufacturing systems. If you thrive on technical leadership, process innovation, and problem‑solving, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the development, review, and control of electrical manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, wire lists, and SOPs.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews during New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure electrical designs are optimized for manufacturing efficiency, ergonomics, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain PFMEA documentation, assessing risks and implementing mitigation strategies in electrical assembly processes.
  • Standardize wiring methodologies, routing practices, labeling standards, and workmanship requirements to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Design and optimize wire harnesses, subassemblies, and wire kits to improve build quality, repeatability, and takt time.
  • Develop electrical build sequences that enhance safety, ergonomics, and labor productivity.
  • Simplify complex engineering drawings into clear, trainable work instructions suitable for multi‑level operator teams.
  • Lead the implementation of automated wire processing equipment to reduce variation and manual labor.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Industrial, Manufacturing, Controls, and Test Engineering—to improve line flow, ergonomics, and defect reduction.
  • Provide hands‑on troubleshooting support for electrical build issues, including wiring discrepancies, grounding, components, and documentation gaps.
  • Support system commissioning, FAT/SAT, and electrical integration activities ensuring manufacturing readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, serving as a technical escalation point.
  • Own the electrical manufacturing strategy for large‑scale assemblies, harnesses, power distribution, and control systems.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in electrical manufacturing, industrial electrical engineering, or similar roles.
  • Proven expertise in DFM/DFA processes and process optimization projects.
  • Strong background in developing and maintaining PFMEA and risk management documentation.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical assembly processes, wire harnessing, panel wiring, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in electrical manufacturing environments.
Additional Qualifications That Would Shine:
  • Experience with automated wire processing equipment and manufacturing automation.
  • Familiarity with electrical control systems, power distribution, and automation standards.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related methodologies.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in electrical manufacturing.
