Description

SSR is seeking a Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) Intern to support our field and office teams during the summer. This internship is ideal for students interested in gaining real-world construction experience, learning about quality assurance practices, and observing how engineering design comes to life in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gain real-world experience on exciting transportation construction projects

* Apply standard construction and inspection techniques and procedures

* Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a CEI professional or Construction Manager

* Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

* Completion of sophomore year or higher by the internship start date.

* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Willingness to work outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
