About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead equipment development from concept to the production floor. This hands-on, cross-functional role isideal for engineers with proven success in industrial automation, line implementation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead equipment from concept through FDR, FAT, SAT, SOP, and ramp-up
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, controls, IE, operations)
• Manage internal and external equipment suppliers for full deployment
• Define automation strategy, station-level requirements, and buffer logic
• Develop utility and material flow strategies (compressed air, power, water, etc.)
• Create detailed documentation: PFMEAs, SOPs, risk assessments, timing charts
• Drive validation plans, oversee installation, and support production launch

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Controls, or Industrial Engineering
• 4+ years in manufacturing or process engineering
• Hands-on equipment development, testing, and full-line implementation
• CAD proficiency (Solid Works preferred; Catia a plus)
• Strong grasp of tolerance stack-ups, safety PLCs, LOTO, and industrial safety standards
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff)
• Exposure to MES/database systems (Python/MySQL a plus)
• Domestic & international travel readiness

Bonus Points:

• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Successful plant start-up experience
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
