Location: Memphis, TN

Pay Rate: $85,000-$95,000 Based On Experience

Position Overview

This role blends technical engineering work with project coordination and business communication. The individual will begin with ownership of a single project and gradually ramp up responsibilities over the first three months while learning workflows, systems, and long-term organizational goals.

The engineer will work within a collaborative team of approximately 8–10 engineers and partner closely with operations and logistics teams.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support coordination between internal stakeholders and multiple aerospace and ULD (Unit Load Device) vendors.
  • Assist with planning and execution of aircraft engineering and logistics projects.
  • Communicate project updates and technical concepts to cross-functional and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business partners to ensure safety, alignment, and timely delivery.
  • Participate in vendor meetings, conferences, and working sessions as needed.
  • Support projects across global regions including the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace required).
  • Working knowledge of aircraft structures and mechanical systems, including loading and safety considerations.
  • Experience with CAD design and structural or stress analysis of mechanical or aircraft components.
  • Exposure to engineering analysis tools such as ANSYS
    .
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic financial analysis concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

  • Aerospace or aviation industry experience.
  • Experience working with vendors or suppliers.
  • Exposure to global or multi-region projects.
  • Interest in growing into expanded project ownership or leadership responsibilities over time.
