The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a prominent client of ours.
Location:
Memphis, TN
Pay Rate: $35-$37/hr
Duration: 12 months (possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget)
Main Responsibilities- Manage the transfer of manufacturing processes between locations, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones for the transfer process.
- Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, regulatory, supply planning, procurement, production teams, and suppliers to align objectives and address potential issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field is required.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required (medical device preferred).
- Experience in New Product Development and Product transfer is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience with project engineering (creating project plans, timelines, milestones, etc) is preferred but not required.
