CLEP contractor identification and selection strategy:

• Research via Internet or other means contractors that perform work in civil construction, general building, industrial mechanical, fire protection, crane and rigging, materials management, transformer installation, high voltage electrical, and testing and commissioning.

Contract support for CRM Site Works efforts:

• Participate in bid screening process and support development of construction bid packages.
• Lead the development of construction Division of Responsibility matrices and facilitate construction bid reviews.
• Communicate with 3rd party construction companies and support planning, coordination and execution of a construction fair.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify contractors for various construction projects.
• Support development of construction bid packages and participate in bid screening process.
• Lead construction bid reviews and facilitate communication with 3rd party contractors.

Desired

Experience:

• Experience or familiarity with cost estimating and electrical construction.
• Ability to manage multiple bid/project efforts and proficient in Office products.
• Familiarity with High Voltage/Medium Voltage electrical equipment and strong communication skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a technical discipline.
• A minimum of 2-3 additional years of experience in Sourcing, Production Control, Distribution, or Production Planning.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically at least 20% of the time.

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience sourcing transmission & distribution products and services.
• MBA and/or financial experience, strong oral and written communication skills, and strategic thinker.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
