is looking for a bright, motivated Print Solutions Engineer to join our team in Memphis, TN. This role owns the process of taking files from our web based ordering system through to a printed status. Mimeo is an innovator in the online print market and we are constantly trying to do things that no other printer thinks can be done.

We are looking for someone who loves a fast paced, constantly evolving environment, and wants to be on the front line as we change the face of print production.

• Working with our product and software development team to continually improve file preparation and imposition, speed to market for new products, and efficiency in our operation.
• Hands on problem solving on the manufacturing floor and with our software and engineering teams.
• Continue to refine, implement, and audit a strong, measurable, and impactful color management system across all manufacturing sites worldwide.
• Provide color management technical support and expertise to the Engineering and Production Operations teams, including creating color profiles, developing print tests, and compliance.
• Research, recommend, and implement new software and technology to help Mimeo maintain market‑leading speed of delivery and quality.
• Develop ROIs and justifications for new print technology and workflow investments.

• 5+ years of printing experience, 2+ years of color management experience.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of color management as it pertains to the printing process - RGB to CMYK, ICC color profiles, GCR, UCR, ink densities, black generation, and delta‑E.
• Excellent understanding and experience with spectrophotometers, densitometers, and color tolerances. Must have the ability to analyze press samples and produce reports related to the results.
• IDE Alliance G7/CMP certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with implementation of JDF to drive finishing processes.
• Strong knowledge of digital printing and finishing/binding processes.
• Experience with DFE hardware and technologies of major digital press OEMs.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts.
