Program OverviewThis rotational program immerses you in ABB’s Electrification business and potentially other related functions. You will develop hands‑on experience with innovative technologies, contribute to pioneering R&D efforts, participate in formal training programs, and advance ABB’s research objectives. Tasks will be assigned by the program manager to accelerate your professional growth.
Responsibilities- Complete rotations within the ABB Electrification business, rotating across R&D teams with potential to reach related functions.
- Contribute to pioneering R&D efforts by developing and testing new engineering solutions.
- Participate in formal training to develop technical, functional, professional and leadership skills in preparation for future roles.
- Deliver assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.
- Enjoy solving technical problems and developing products and solutions.
- Desire to learn and grow from diverse experiences and people.
- Foster a growth mindset, focusing on continual learning and improvement.
- Excited to explore living/working in different parts of the US. Relocation assistance is provided.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree engineering program and graduating by June 2026.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Valid US work authorization and no sponsorship required in the future.
- Choice between two medical plan options: a PPO Copay Plan or a High Deductible Health Plan with an HSA.
- Choice between two dental plan options:
Core or Core Plus. - Vision benefit.
- Company paid life insurance (2× base pay).
- Company paid AD&D (1× base pay).
- Voluntary life and AD&D – 100% employee paid up to maximums.
- Short‑Term Disability – up to 26 weeks – company paid.
- Long‑Term Disability – 60% of pay – company paid; ability to buy‑up to 66 ⅔ % of pay.
- Supplemental benefits – 100% employee paid (accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness, pet insurance).
- Parental Leave – up to 6 weeks.

The program salary is approximately $80,000 annually.
