With a focus on sustainability, operational excellence, and long-term growth, our client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Corporate Mechanical Project Engineer to drive critical capital projects across their U.S. operations. What You Will Achieve- Drive End-to-End Project Delivery:
Own the conceptualization, detailed scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of cost-effective capital projects. - Requires regular travel for hands-on engagement at various sites to provide insights, coaching, and drive projects forward.
- Lead with Influence:
Supervise and guide trades and contractors, championing the highest standards of safety (OSHA, NFPA) and quality on every job site. - Be the Technical Expert:
Serve as the go-to technical resource for manufacturing facilities, traveling to troubleshoot complex challenges, assess equipment, and implement corporate best practices. - Forge Strong Partnerships:
Act as a central point of contact, liaising with consulting engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project alignment and execution. - Communicate with Impact:
Deliver clear and concise progress reports and presentations on project status to all levels of the organization, from the plant floor to the management team.
- You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- You bring 3-5+ years of hands-on construction project management experience within a heavy manufacturing environment (Wood Products, Metal, Steel, Automotive, etc.).
- You are a natural leader with proven skills in planning, organizing, and directing project teams to achieve ambitious objectives.
- You possess the technical acumen to read and interpret Civil, Structural, and Mechanical drawings.
- You are highly proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD, and data analysis tools like Power BI.
- You are a self-starter with an insatiable desire to learn, grow, and succeed, embodying integrity, humility, and a strong work ethic.
