- Serve as the academic and artistic leader of the School, guiding curriculum development, faculty initiatives, and student success strategies.
- Advance interdisciplinary collaboration across the College of Communication and Fine Arts and the broader university community.
- Promote innovative teaching and performance practices that reflect current trends in music education.
- Build and sustain relationships with community partners, donors, alumni, and professional arts organizations.
- Work closely with the Dean of the College to enhance the School’s national and international profile while maintaining the highest standards of artistic and academic excellence.
