• Provide professional instruction designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement district educational goals and transformation initiatives.
• Engage families and communities to support student success.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Tennessee professional teacher's license.
• Proof of education, training, and/or experience required.
• Degree Equivalency Formula:
  Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience;
  Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required years of experience (where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included).
