Join to apply for the Certified Tutor-Part-time role at Memphis-Shelby County Schools.
Instructs and directs the activities of students to help them achieve maximum academic success, in accordance with Title I or other program guidelines.
Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree. Valid Tennessee professional teacher’s license. Minimum of two (2) years of successful classroom experience.
Note: Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required.
Degree Equivalency Formula:
- Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience.
- Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
