Work diligently within the stated goals of the company utilizing knowledge of Blake Solutions Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities include using 20/20 Cabinet Software and other software to draft cabinet, counter top, and other material scope drawings and assisting project managers with their projects. Work with the entire team of BSI departments to successfully deliver a consistent product and satisfy our customers’ expectations.

• As an essential part of the project management team, the Project Design Specialist will be wholly or partially responsible for drafting Cabinet Shop Drawings in collaboration with other members of the Project Management and Preconstruction teams and will assist the Director of Project Management and Purchasing Manager in reviewing and improving the quality of final products before they are presented to the Factory.
• Along with these core responsibilities, the Project Design Specialist may support the design process by personally preparing and contributing to the drafting of:
  Cabinet Counts, Cabinet/Counter top Shipping Sequences, Key Meetings, PowerPoint presentations, or other similar communications to be used with internal and external partners.
• The Project Design Specialist must be familiar with the most current ADA/ANSI and FHA guidelines on project design as it relates to Blake Solutions' goods and plays a lead role in ensuring an effective Project Design Process. The Project Design Specialist is expected to maintain a consultative and participatory approach in development of the project.
• The Project Design Specialist assists project management leads in determining appropriate timelines and in monitoring progress toward meeting crucial deadlines.
• Discuss non-standard cabinets with stakeholders to come to a consensus on dimensions, design, function, etc.
• Assist Blake PMs with order reviews.
• Assist in the development and documentation of Material SOPs (drawings, designs, codes/descriptions).

A minimum of two years of experience in reading Architectural and Interior Design Plans; fluent in 20/20 Cabinet Software a must and Auto CAD preferred; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat; ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and maintain multiple tasks and projects to completion with careful attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication; confidence and competence in decision‑making, teamwork and negotiation;

ability to work calmly under stress and deadlines; dependable and adaptable; ability and willingness to learn new procedures and skills and work within the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of Blake Solutions.
