** General Summary
** This position is responsible for greeting all company visitors and answering and directing all telephone calls on the company’s main phone line to ensure all guests and customers are properly directed. Based in Memphis, Tennessee, the position serves the southeast aggregate, asphalt, and paving operations of Lehman-Roberts and Memphis Stone & Gravel.
** Essential Job Accountabilities
*** Answer multi-line telephone system and transfer each call accordingly to ensure calls are properly directed to the right employee.
* Greet visitors/external customers to ensure that they are properly directed.
* Order business cards when needed to ensure accuracy and standardization of cards.
* Update phone list periodically to ensure employee’s direct phone numbers are accurate and current.
* Provide backup to conference room scheduler on an as needed basis to ensure we don’t have double bookings.
** Education
* ** High school diploma.
** Work Experience
*** Prior receptionist experience preferred.
** Knowledge, skills, and abilities
*** Excellent customer service.
* Ability to multi-task.
** Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
