Hiring a Concrete Estimator and a Project Manager

You’ll play a pivotal role in our projects’ success. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring the seamless execution of our concrete projects. With your expertise, you’ll contribute to our team’s efficiency and excellence.

• Conduct thorough estimates for concrete projects, considering all relevant factors.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate project planning.
• Review project documents and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to develop competitive and accurate bids.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the estimating process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and material availability to inform the estimating process.
• Provide guidance and support to junior estimators as needed.
• Continuously evaluate and improve estimating processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Must have 5+ years of proven experience in structural concrete estimating, with a focus on commercial concrete projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
