Senior Project Manager – Site Civil Construction

ABES Contracting is growing — and we are looking for a
Senior Project Manager
who understands
site civil, utility, and infrastructure construction
and is ready to lead from both the office and the field.

across Tennessee.

This role is hands-on and multi-dimensional. You will:

• Lead and support
  cost estimating and bid preparation
• Perform quantity takeoffs for civil / utility scopes
• Prepare and manage
  RFIs, submittals, change orders
• Develop and update project schedules (Microsoft Project or similar)
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Attendclient meetings and represent
  
  ABES professionally
• Support field operations and occasionally be on-site
• Help manage crews and ensure projects stay on track
• Improve systems and organization — without over complicating them

This is not a “sit behind a desk and manage hierarchy” role.

We need someone willing to do what the job requires — whether that’sbuilding a schedule, reviewing drawings, meeting a crane operator, or helping close out a project.

• Minimum
  10 years of construction experience
• Direct experience in:
• Site civil work
• Water / wastewater utilities
• Infrastructure or heavy civil construction
• Strong understanding of:
• Plans and specifications
• Quantity takeoffs
• Construction administration processes

• Proficient in
  Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with
  Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6) is a plus
• Comfortable with construction documentation systems
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
