Position: Asphalt Plant Groundman (Lehman-Roberts Company)

With manufacturing facilities located throughout West Tennessee and North Mississippi, we specialize in asphalt production and construction projects ranging from commercial projects to miles of interstate highway paving throughout the Mid-South.
** General Summary
** Performs any combination of following tasks, such as erecting, repairing, and wrecking ; installing waterworks, locks and dams; grading.
** Essential Job Accountabilities
*** Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel, using pick and shovel.
* Lifts, carries, and holds materials, tools, and supplies.
* Cleans tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
* Mixes, pours, and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials, using handtools.
* Joins, wraps, and seals sections of pipe.
* Performs a variety of routine, non-machine tasks, such as removing forms from set concrete, filling expansion joints with asphalt, and placing culvert sections in trench.
** Education
* ** High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience

* Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds
* Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects and carry tools and equipment
